We have started a new science curriculum this year and I want to share it with you. It is called "Focus on Elementary Chemistry" for grade Kindergarten through 4th grade. They also have astronomy, geology, biology, and physics!
We started the year off learning about atoms and the different types. Then we went deeper into how atoms form molecules and molecules form everything around us.
Today, we did a science experiment that I added to show how different atoms react with other atoms to make a reaction or change. We made HOMEMADE SLIME! I didn't touch it.
Here are some photos!
Homemade Slime Recipe:
1 cup corn starch, 1/2 cup water, then as much food coloring as you want.
