Awake & Available

The hope of Heaven has really set in this week as I am reminded of my human nature and how weak we really are.  When it comes to being in constant awareness of the Holy Spirit and where he is going and when he is moving... my small framed mind cannot comprehend his every move and my heart yearns to know the Lord more in a new way each day.  So, I press into his word and sit back and listen.  I don't say a word... I just sit back against this wall that won't move and believe for Him to manifest himself in all of His glory on my behalf.

We are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God.  I am reminded on a daily basis just how small I am.  Our lives here are just a blink.  Our vision during our lives is what spurs us on to leave a legacy for those behind us.  When our vision is combined with the visions of those coming after us, the Lord's kingdom is built and His glory is shown throughout the years.  So, even though our lives are short and Satan would like for you to think that it means nothing in the large scheme of things, that is a lie.

The truth of the matter is still the same..."Without vision people perish".  Our minds should be constantly renewed in order to pursue the plan that the Lord has for us.  We can't hear from the Lord one time and think that it is the one special time...and that be it.  He wants to speak and lead you always.  The storms come...the ground dries up...and then we find ourselves praying for rain soon after.  Our hearts are always needing, always wanting the presence of the Lord.  We were created to worship Him.

The lies of the enemy drown out the truth in our hearts in no time at all.  This is why we have to constantly wash ourselves in His word and make ourselves available for what He has for us...even today!
Are you available?...Are you envisioning?...Are you awake?

Read in JOB 37:1-5

1“At this my heart pounds and leaps from its place. 2Listen! Listen to the roar of his voice, to the rumbling that comes from his mouth. 3He unleashes his lightning beneath the whole heaven and sends it to the ends of the earth. 4After that comes the sound of his roar; he thunders with his majestic voice. When his voice resounds, he holds nothing back. 5God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding
