Happy Birthday, Isaac!

While shopping for party supplies and picking out Isaac's cake. I grabbed a candle I thought would look best. About ten minutes later, I showed the candle to him. "What do you think about this candle, sweetie?", I asked.

He looked at me with disgust and said, "I would love it except...it's a 4!"

Not even realizing what I had done until that moment, I realized that yet another year has slipped by so quickly as we celebrate his 5th birthday this weekend.
Just like a blink...he is taller, smarter, and more aware of who he is.

His milestones this year include:
- learning to read
- learning to add and subtract
- learning about team work (soccer!)
- advancing past his preschool grade level
